Hunter Douglas - Warranty worthless
We spent over $4,000 on Hunter Douglas fabric blinds and from the very start we had problems.They bubbled so we returned through Drexel Heritage for replacement.
They then sent the exact same units back claiming they had been replaced. Naturally the same problem occurred so we sent back again only to be told that they had discontinued the fabric and we would have to choose a different color. We didn't like the new colors offered but had no choice but to go with a poor substitute. The new blinds then started to fray on the sides after 3 months and Hunter Douglas advised that we would have to send them back at our cost, for investigation and that if they considered the damage to be a cause of negligence we would have to pay the replacement costs and associated shipping charges.
NEGLIGENT WITH A $4,000 SET OF BLINDS?I DON'T THINK SO!
We will now be removing the offending product and installing an alternative.
