Pissed Consumer Interviews ?

The motor of one of our 9 year old silhouette shades doesn’t work. The other two motorized shades work fine.....so far. I talked to a gentleman in customer service and the best he could do was offer up to $250 off a new shade. I said a new motorized shade is over $1,000.I told the guy he wasn’t being blamed, but the company certainly does not value its customers. At one time HD was synonomous with a quality product and customer satisfaction and service.HD is on its third or fourth generation of motoized components, which makes me wonder why no recalls have been announced. At the very least, customers should have been notified with each change and have an opportunity to update the motors in the shades/ blinds.Does anyone know how or where I can get the shade retrofitted with a new motor or at least convert it to the loop cord?

do not buy this product ever. It breaks very easily, it is almost impossible to do even the smallest adjustment or repair (for example teasel replacement), design is very bad. Do not buy

Hunter Douglas - Powerview Blinds

I bought 6 blinds from a local company called The Linen Chest in Halifax Nova Scotia 2 years ago . All of them have failed . Despite repeated attempts to fix them, reprogram them and/or replace them , 2 of them are still not working and stuck permanently in the open position. I can't blame the local company from trying to help; they have, however the blinds are just poorly crafted. Also they never worked with automated control over wi-fi. That was a nightmare. I have called the Linen Chest recently (June 2019) to come and fix the remaining 2 blinds but they won't return my calls now.

who wants someone in my house until I decide what I want. I don't want an In-home consultation....I want swatches to put up on my windows and decide by myself before I invite the company over. This is so old school and unsafe

I can't put into words how terrible the quality of these Blinds are. First set we purchased ($700) for Lite Rise won't work when they arrived. Sent them back to be repaired and when they arrived back they were no different. The place we brought them from agreed with us...

I had 12 shades installed through JC Penney. After several months one of the shades stopped being able to be lifted up or down. And another one didn't go all the way up. Now, less than a year later 6 of the plastic pull handles are cracking and one broke completely...

Hunter Douglas - Roller blind slower then other blinds on window

Remote control roller blinds, 3 out of 4 are synchronized, 4th slower on opening. Please advise as how to remedy the situation.
