Every one was cheaply made, failed several times requiring repair costs to me and I received virtually no support from Hunter Douglas. My recommendation would be to look for alternatives other than Hunter Douglas since they are very expensive, prone to failure and not...

"Resolved" but not to my satisfaction. Their lifetime warranty is a scam. The durability of the product leaves a lot to be desired. Would look for alternative window coverings...

We also paid about 25K for motorized Silouette. This was the heavily rebated price during he end of year special in my area. It took a few month to get everything properly set up. Changing all of the batteries that came with the install made a big difference. In spite...

The company warranties only 5 years for the motor. You spend $2000 on a blind and after 5 years they tell you that if the motor goes you have to throw it out. Their motor systems have changed; they keep no parts; you can't even pay them or anyone to repair the blind...

I have 44 Hunter Douglas battery-operated (PowerView Motorization) blinds in my house - installed 6 months ago. I have had nothing but problems with them sometimes some just won't open or close - and it varies from day to day - this is embarrassing in front of guests...

The batteries should last a year. Hunter Douglas does provide the first batteries but there is no way of knowing how old those batteries really are. Your sales person should h...

Have spent thousands of dollars on Hunter Douglas blinds throughout my home. While they look beautiful, I was told the motors are done on 8 year old blinds. OK so I thought I could have them repaired, think again. I was told the PowerRise technology is obsolete and...

Have you called any independent blind/shade repair companies? Some of them have a few of the old school motors and parts in stock. It's worth a try.

Electric/battery operated blinds.Great idea. Took two months of visits, measurements, delays in delivery then the installer. Worked for a week or so, then one of two didn't. Took months of visits, sending back one blind with a thin paper replacement window covering,...

I have the same problem as you do. Apparently when Hunter Douglas makes a new shade they no longer make parts for the old ones. My shades are from 2009 and I can no longer get...

Now after we have been North for the summer the panels are bowed. It is now a week since I called the dealer and no service. I bought the panels because a new light was installed outside. Now without Hunter Dougas service I don’t sleep or live in a cave with the hurricane shutters closed. Is this what Hunter Douglas...

We ordered 23 motorized window shades and 3 door shades. This was supposed to be the newest technology from Hunter Douglas. The cool thing was the app you can down load to operate your shades when not home. That was the only thing that worked consistently. The roller...
