I decided to take Hunter Douglas to court and the proceedings were in hand when I got a phone call from one of the subsidiaries offering to put the matter right. I think the catalyst was an e mail to the head office in Holland.
New blinds supplied and fitted. All expenses covered. A much better way for a company to advertise!!

Just instigated proceedings against the company. There is no after service, just avoidance of issues and deflection. Trying to shift the blame. A shining example of "corporate dishonour".
This company are not interested in anything other than saturating the market and profit. If the originator of the business could see his company now, he would be ashamed. They are a disgrace! I purchased their product because of their stature thinking that they would "do the right thing" if there was a problem.
It seems not! This company is a blight and indicative of big business today.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1500.
Preferred solution: Replace with another fabric FOC.
I didn't like: Unsatisfactory resolution for defective product.
